1965 Harris in the Selma to Montgomery March

25 March 1965: Montgomery, Alabama, USA—The Selma-to-Montgomery freedom marchers, including Dr. Martin Luther King (r), Rev. Ralph Abernathy (2nd from left) and Harris (left of Abernathy) enter the St. Jude Hospital grounds where they camped on their last night  out. King was to lead the marchers the last four miles to the state capitol.

the lives of thousands as a family man, minister, activist, and politician.
